MYJ GMSC unleashes a goal fest with a dominating 11-0 win over JMJ SC in Mumbai Premier League

Mumbai Premier League witnessed a spectacular showdown between MYJ GMSC and JMJ SC at Neville Dsouza ground, Bandra (West), characterized by high-scoring dominance and exceptional individual performances.

From the opening whistle, MYJ established their authority, dictating every moment of the game. Athang Kanekar’s early corner attempt created an early scoring opportunity, showcasing MYJ’s attacking intent. Shamer Babu Swamy, operating seamlessly as a winger, proved to be a constant menace to JMJ’s defense, employing skillful dribbles and creating numerous goal-scoring opportunities.

In the 17th minute, Harshal Karle’s pass finds Jay Bhavnani, who makes a brilliant run into the JMJ box beating two defenders on his path before clinically placing his shot past the JMJ keeper to break the deadlock. As the first half approached its conclusion, Shamer Swamy’s prowess was on full display as he netted another goal, with a stunning strike from 25 yards out that left JMJ’s goalkeeper, Raja Hela, helpless as the ball hit the inside of crossbar and into the net.

Just before halftime whistle, Kamran Ansari broke through JMJ’s defense, scoring a remarkable goal and extending MYJ’s lead to 3-0.

The second half witnessed an onslaught from MYJ’s strikers. In the 50th minute, Kamlesh Nadar latched on to a header from his teammate before firing in to the net from inside the box to secure the fourth goal.

Shamer Babu Swamy continued his stellar performance, weaving through defenders to score two more goals. In the 72nd minute he opened the floodgates of goals as MYJ-GMSC went on to score four 5 goals in the spam of 9 minutes. It started with a bit of luck as Shamer’s curling delivery from a corner was spilled into his own net by the JMJ Keeper. However two minutes later it was all Shamer as he dribbled past three players to finish a well worked move from the left and make it 6-0.

Two minutes later, another mistake from a Goalie made it seven goals for MYJ-GMSC as Keegan’s long range attempt slipped through his hand.

Umesh Perambra’s brilliant header from a Kamlesh Nadar’s cross made it 8-0 before Allen Dias finished off a brilliant move from Manuel D’souza to make it 9-0. Karthik Raju then drills in a low cross from the left that an onrushing Jay Bhavnani tapped home to comple 10 goals for the game.

In the final moments of the game, a precise free-kick from the left was headed home by Kamran Ansari to conclude the match with MYJ securing a commanding 11-0 victory.

While Shamer Swamy starred with a hattrick, the likes of Jay Bhavnani, Keegan Pereira, Kamlesh Nadar, Umesh Perambra and others each contributing in goals, showcased the team’s remarkable attacking prowess.

In a one-sided encounter, MYJ dominated the game, displaying exceptional teamwork and individual brilliance. The victory firmly places MYJ GMSC as a formidable force in the Mumbai Premier League.
