Mumbai Premier League: MYJ-GMSC Stuns Protrack SI in Five-Goal Spectacle

Mumbai Premier League MYJ-GMSC

Monday’s Mumbai Premier League game witnessed a pretty one-sided affair with MYJ-GMSC slamming in five goals, leaving Protrack SI utterly bamboozled.

The kickoff marked the commencement of an intense encounter between Protrack SI and MYJ GMSC. MYJ GMSC swiftly seized possession, relentlessly launching attacks on Protrack SI. Although Protrack attempted counter-attacks, they struggled to find the net.

The breakthrough came in the 19th minute when Manuel, seizing an opportunity, took a shot on target. Yash, the Protrack SI keeper, managed to save the initial attempt, but Manuel capitalized on the rebound, securing the opening goal for MYJ-GMSC, establishing a 1-0 lead. MYJ GMSC continued to press for goals but failed to capitalize on the chances in the final third.

At the other end, ProTrack SI looked to attack on the counter but failed to capitalize on couple of occasion with their final pass just not being good enough. First half ended at 1-0 with MYJ-GMSC leading

As the second half commenced, MYJ-GMSC continued their dominance, maintaining possession and creating numerous goal-scoring opportunities. Dipu further extended their lead with a smoothly executed grounded goal, bringing the score to 2-0. MYJ-GMSC’s relentless pressure left Protrack SI struggling to regain control of the game.

Shamer added to the scoreboard around the hour mark with an impressive run from the right wing, eluding Protrack’s defenders and successfully netting the third goal for MYJ-GMSC. The hungry MYJ-GMSC squad continued their onslaught, with Akshay finding the back of the net for the fourth goal, leaving Protrack SI in disarray.

Six minutes after the fourth goal, Adithyan showcased his skill with a powerful shot, securing MYJ-GMSC’s fifth and final goal of the match.

The relentless performance of MYJ-GMSC not only showcased their offensive prowess but also highlighted the formidable defensive efforts that left Protrack SI struggling to make a comeback.

The win takes MYJ-GMSC to the third position in the league table with just one point separating them from the league leaders Millat FC
