Team Maharashtra beat Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu in Beach Soccer Semifinals at the Diu Beach Games 2024, earning themselves a well-deserved spot in the finals slated for January 11th, 2024.

Making their maiden appearance in the competition, Team Maharashtra were placed in Group B facing some tough adversaries in Lakshadweep, Odisha, and Goa.

The opening clash against Lakshadweep saw a valiant effort from Maharashtra boys, despite a 5-2 defeat. Midfielder Parth Paresh Chavan was a big positive showcasing brilliance with both goals.
