Kartik Bele & Amol Jadhav Lead Symbians FC to Debut Win in Mumbai Super League

Symbians FC, based in Virar, secured an impressive 4-1 victory over Rudra FC in their debut Mumbai Super League match.

Symbians FC, based in Virar, secured an impressive 4-1 victory over Rudra FC in their debut Mumbai Super League match.

Despite a lackluster first half, where Symbians missed several clear chances, they turned the game around after the break, thanks to decisive performances from Kartik Bele,Amol Jadhav, Kamlesh Chaudhary and Sameer Suthar scoring a goal each.

The game began with Amol Jadhav nearly setting up a perfect start. His curling corner delivered with precision found Kamlesh Chaudhary, who rose above the defenders but narrowly missed the target with his header. Kamlesh had another golden chance moments later when Rudra’s goalkeeper, Kartik, misjudged a clearance, leaving Kamlesh with an open goal. However, the striker’s attempt to place the ball sailed over the crossbar, squandering the opportunity.

Symbians’ frustration grew as Swaroop Nilve, with some brilliant dribbling down the left flank, released a perfectly weighted through pass to the onrushing No. 17. Faced with only the keeper, the forward’s shot was too direct, allowing the keeper to make a comfortable save.

Joel, controlling the midfield, threaded a clever through pass to Kamlesh, setting up another one-on-one with the keeper. Yet again, Kamlesh’s shot lacked the necessary precision, hitting the keeper rather than finding the back of the net.

The second half saw a dramatic shift in momentum. Amol Jadhav, who had been a constant threat down the right flank, delivered a pinpoint cross to the far post in the 54th minute. The cross eluded the Rudra defense, allowing Kartik Bele to tap in from close range, finally breaking the deadlock. This goal not only lifted the team’s spirits but also set the tone for the remainder of the match.

Just minutes later, Symbians capitalized on their momentum with a swift counter-attack. A quick clearance from the defense found its way to Kartik Bele, who directed a perfect pass into the path of Amol Jadhav. With composure, Jadhav drove into the box and slotted the ball low into the left bottom corner.

The pressure from Symbians didn’t let up as they immediately pressed Rudra from the kickoff. This led to their third goal when Kamlesh Chaudhary, making up for his earlier misses, latched onto a loose ball in the box and rifled it into the net from close range. The relief was evident as the front three, after a frustrating first half, finally found their rhythm.
Substitute Sameer Suthar added the fourth goal with a moment of individual brilliance. After some neat interplay between Swaroop Nilve and Kartik Bele in the center of the park, Sameer received the ball just outside the box. With a deft touch, he used the outside of his foot to send the ball curling into the far corner.

Symbians FC’s keeper had little to do throughout the match, but was called into action late in the second half, making a fingertip save from a powerful Rudra FC strike from setpiece. However, he couldn’t keep out a towering header from Rudra FC’s No. 23 during stoppage time, which gave Rudra a consolation goal..
