To provide deeper insights and help brands make informed sponsorship decisions as the action unfolds, Elucide Sports, has released a comprehensive report titled “Indian Super League 2024-25: Decoding the Season On and Off the Field.”

By examining both on-field performance metrics and off-field factors, the report provides a holistic view of each team’s strengths and weaknesses, offering insights into how these could influence their overall performance by the season’s end.

Covering aspects such as squad depth, historical performance, fan engagement, sponsorships, and management stability, this report delivers a detailed outlook on each team’s potential trajectory for the season.

What the Report Covers:

– Current Squad Strength & Depth: How each team is performing on the field, including key players, head coach caliber and past performances as they battle through the season.

– Fan Engagement: Up-to-date data on which teams are drawing the most attention from fans across social media, stadium attendance, and digital engagement – crucial for brands looking to connect with engaged audiences.

– Sponsorship Potential: Analysis of value teams bring via their popular players and brands they have on their roster.

– Management: A review of each team’s ownership, including an outlook on their ownership’s stability and investment appetite.

The purpose of this report is to guide brands in identifying which teams are poised for success as the season kicks off from a market agnostic viewpoint. Teams well-positioned for victory will offer maximum value to sponsors and partners, and this report aims to give brands a strategic advantage as they plan their sponsorship engagements.

Key Highlights:

The West Bengal clubs remain powerhouses both on and off the field, with Mohun Bagan SG ranking first overall as they aim to build on last season’s success. East Bengal SC, ranked second overall after significant investments in a strong squad and head coach, will look to finally fulfill their potential. Meanwhile, Mohammedan Sporting makes its much-anticipated ISL debut following a successful I-League campaign, hoping their second-highest stadium attendance will spur them on.

Off the field, southern clubs lead the way in player popularity, fan base size, and digital presence. Kerala Blasters FC, perennial contenders, rank first in fan base size and digital following, while Bengaluru FC tops the player popularity charts thanks to India national team legend Sunil Chhetri, as they look to improve on last season’s disappointing performance. Mumbai City FC and Odisha FC are also expected to compete strongly, topping the management and head coach criteria, respectively.
