Chembur United crush Classic SC with a 5-0 win in MFA First Division

In the Friday’s MFA First Division match, Chembur United triumphed over Classic SC with a resounding 5-0 victory.
This win marks a significant step forward for Chembur United, who now have 9 points from 5 matches, including 3 wins and 2 losses.
The match started with a bang as Chembur United capitalized on an early opportunity. Abu Jaffer launched a precise long ball to Raakesh, who expertly controlled it and executed a 1-on-1 finish, giving Chembur United an early lead.
Classic SC responded with a quick 1-2 move to enter the box, but their efforts were thwarted by a brilliant save from Chembur’s goalkeeper, Mark, denying them an equalizer. The first half saw another close call when Raakesh, attacking from the wings, received a long ball, beat his marker, and tried to score from a tight angle. However, the Classic SC keeper came out just in time to block the shot, keeping the score at 1-0 going into halftime.
Chembur United came out with renewed vigor in the second half, immediately putting pressure on Classic SC’s defense. Their efforts paid off with an early goal from Sanath. After receiving a well-placed pass, Sanath navigated through the Classic SC defense with exceptional skill and slotted the ball past the keeper, doubling Chembur United’s lead to 2-0.
Shortly after, Arvind Yadav delivered a brilliant through ball to Raakesh on the left wing. Raakesh outpaced the backline, entered the box, and sold a dummy to the keeper, slotting the ball into the empty net to make it 3-0.
The momentum continued in Chembur’s favor with a spectacular fourth goal from Elton. From the edge of the box, Elton unleashed a curling shot that sailed over the keeper and dipped just in time to find the top right corner, making it 4-0.
Chembur United’s relentless attack didn’t stop there. Elton scored his second goal of the match with a well-timed through ball between Classic SC’s defense, followed by a clinical finish past the keeper. Despite having a chance to make it 6-0, the Classic SC keeper made a brilliant double save, keeping the final score at 5-0.
