Prakash Sahini’s late strike gives Sellebrity FC 1-0 win over Ambernath United (Bombay Muslims)

In a thrilling encounter, Sellebrity FC secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Ambarnath United. The clash, marked by tense moments and strategic maneuvers, showcased the resilience and determination of both teams.

With both sides looking for their first win of the campaign, the game kicked off with a cautious approach in the first half, as they meticulously tested each other’s defenses. However, the breakthrough moments were reserved for the latter part of the match.

As the game progressed, both sides started pressing forward in search of goals.

Ambernath united FC’s Ninad made couple of attempts to score two goals in the second half, only to have both ruled offside by the vigilant linesman, denying the team crucial opportunities to take the lead.

The tension heightened when Ambarnath United’s Meraj conceded a free kick just outside the box, receiving a yellow card in the process.

This set the stage for a dramatic turn of events as Prakash Sahini capitalized on the opportunity, delivering an exceptional free kick into the net to break the deadlock. Sahini’s goal was a spectacle, with two to three players executing a dummy run before his striking shot found the back of the net.

With minutes left inthe game, Sellebrity FC also faced disciplinary action, with Manish Gautam cautioned for time wasting.

Despite Ambernath United’s relentless efforts inthe final few minutes to level the score, Sellebrity FC managed to maintain their defensive composure and secure the 1-0 lead until the final whistle, claiming a hard-earned victory.

The match showcased the strategic prowess and determination of both teams, each displaying moments of brilliance and resilience. Sellebrity FC deservedly emerged victorious this time, but the competitive spirit exhibited by Ambernath United promises an exciting rivalry in future encounters.

While Sellebrity registered their first win, Ambernath United (Bombay Muslims) encountered back to back setback already in th of the season, the team will have lot to ponder on going forward.
