Dhaval Waghela stars with a hat-trick as Mumbai Customs stun ESIC in a dominating fashion in today’s MFA Elite Corporate league encounter

In a thrilling encounter of the MFA Elite Corporate League, Mumbai Customs displayed their dominance by defeating ESIC with a commanding 4-1 victory. The match, filled with exciting moments and skillful performances, showcased Mumbai Customs’ prowess on the field.

Mumbai Customs wasted no time in taking the lead, with Dhaval Waghela opening the scoring in the 12th minute. Building on their early success, Praneel Mendon found the back of the net in the 18th minute to double the lead.

ESIC steadied their leaky defense as the game progressed until the 69th minute when Dhaval scored his second of the day tapping in a cross from the left flank for the third goal of the game.

The momentum continued for Mumbai Customs as they were awarded a penalty in the 73rd minute. Waghela confidently converted the spot-kick, securing his hat-trick and sealing a remarkable individual performance.

ESIC managed to pull one back in the 83rd minute through a counter-attacking goal by Egypsto Noronha. Exploiting a defensive lapse from Mumbai Customs, Noronha capitalized on the opportunity and provided a consolation goal for his team.

The league table reflects the contrasting fortunes of both teams. ESIC currently sits in 10th place with 3 points from 5 games, while Mumbai Customs enjoys a more favorable position, occupying the 5th spot with 9 points from 5 games.
