Cool Veterans Clinch Victory in 50+ Legends Master Cup 2023

On June 24th, the highly anticipated “50+ Legends Master Cup 2023” took place in Mulund, Mumbai, showcasing the skills and experience of the city’s top veteran teams.

The tournament, which featured 12 formidable teams comprising both national and international players, proved to be a thrilling and memorable event for football enthusiasts.

The spotlight of the tournament fell on a Brazilian First Division player, Valdeiras Ribeiro de Freitas, whose mesmerizing skills and contributions to the Cool Veterans team earned him the prestigious Best Legend Trophy. Valdeiras’s exceptional talent and ability to captivate the crowd with his performance left a lasting impression on all those in attendance.

In a fiercely competitive competition, the Cool Veterans team emerged victorious, claiming the coveted Masters Cup Championship Trophy. Their exemplary teamwork, skillful gameplay, and determination were instrumental in securing their triumph. Maccabi TelAviv showcased their prowess as well, finishing as the runners-up, with Martin D’Silva claiming the Golden Boot for his exceptional goal-scoring prowess. Airest Clayton of Maccabi TelAviv was awarded the Best Goalkeeper accolade for his outstanding shot-stopping abilities.

Other notable individuals recognized for their contributions to the tournament were Subir Sinha of Happy Guys, who received the Youngest Legend award, and Remy Fernandes of Rocket Gang, who was acknowledged as the Eldest Legend, celebrating the wide range of age and experience present in the competition.
