WIFA to celebrate AFC Women’s Football Day on 13 March 2022
The Western India Football Association (WIFA) in association with Mumbai Football Association (MFA) will celebrate AFC National Women’s Football Day 2022 on 13 March 2022.
The world observes 8 March as International Women’s Day and in solidarity, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) celebrates the AFC Women’s Football Day.
AFC Women’s Football Day is celebrated to recognize and promote the development of women’s football for women and girls of various backgrounds, regions, ethnicities, and age groups. WIFA resonating strongly with the ethos of gender equality will celebrate AFC Women’s Football Day on 13 March 2022 at the Cooperage Stadium in Mumbai. The event will be held from 4:00 PM IST to 7:00 PM IST.
