AND OSSM CONVERT THIRD ATTEMPT TO LIFT THE TITLE!!!
Both sides have converted their second attempt to take the game to final shootout where OSSM just need to convert theirs to win the trophy
United miss their first attempt while OSSM have converted theirs to take the lead
Its all square at full time as the game will now be decided via Penalty shootout. Both sides have given a good account of themselves.
Close OSSM are now looking to come into the game as another free kick in a dangerous position sees Navin Negi ‘s curler going just wide off the post
Chance OSSM win a corner and the ball is punched away by the keeper but only as far as Clinton whose shot goes wide of the bar
United have continued to put pressure throughout the game with occasional attempts from OSSM its still all square as the game enters its final moments

Second half is underway as United look to continue their pressure on OSSM defense
At the other end, United once again with an attack from the left wing however despite some good ball into the box the final finishing move has been missing.
Chance Missed OSSM striker Roger Pereira found him self in an 1-on-1 Situation with the United Keeper however the striker’s attempted chip shot goes inches over the bar to keep the score line goal less.
United have managed to find a couple opportunities to take the ball deep in to the OSSM box. On one such occasion Brijal collects a long cross and sends a quick cut back in to the box but there was no one available for a tap in and OSSM defence clears the dangers
OSSM playing with a high defensive line as United look to find a breakthrough with through balls but haven’t succeeded at it so far.
United have started positively winning an early corner but nothing comes off it.

United’s Praful hits a powerful shot to the right side of the keeper to convert his spot kick, while Boxer’s Maxy does goes left to convert his shot. 1-1

Its full time as both sides now prepare for a penalty shootout with 3 shots for each side. Boxer’s Sumeet Kamble produced all three saves in the teams previous shootout and will be looking to repeat it again.

Goooal!!! United equalize! In a freekick situation, Brijal Possa struck a curling free-kick from 30 yards out that dipped just at the right moment to sneak past the goalkeeper’s reach.

Yellow Card for Praful Dunja of United Villagers as Boxer FA earn a free-kick in a dangerous area. Maxi D’souza strike fizzes inches over the top bar as Boxer almost doubled the lead.
Goooal!!! Boxer take the lead after Ajinkya Umasare latched on to a long over the defence through ball before slotting it past an onrushing keeper to take his side in to the lead

Its been Goal less so far with some end to end football. Boxer FA have closest so far with a shot just going over the bar. United with an attack of their own almost took the lead after Jersey no. 99 Brijal Possa’s header came off the bar, the rebound fell for another striker whose shot was cleared off the line. Its still goal less as both sides enter into the half time break.

OSSM beat Kopana FC in penalties to book place in the final. Navin Negi opened the scoring for OSSM as they took the lead in the fifth minute. Kopana FC came back stronger with flurry of attacks as OSSM found it difficult to maintain their lead. Noel Plavila equalized for Kopana FC in the 26th minute to come back in to the game. Gaurav Ambavale was given the marching order after picking up his 2nd foul of the game as OSSM played with 10 men in final stages. The game entered Penalty shootout where OSSM held their nerves better to beat Kopana FC and reach the finals

OSSM overcome a strong CFCI-CSL challenge to enter top 4. A bright start from OSSM saw them take the lead early in the game through inform striker Shoib Baig’s 8th minute strike Gaurav Ambawale doubled the lead through penalty as OSSM went in to the break with 2-0 lead.
On restart, CFCI-CSL came out with intent and were soon rewarded for their persistent pressure in the opponents box pushing them in to a mistake as OSSM conceded an own goal. In the final moments of the game, CFCI-CSL keeper was shown a straight Red card after the custodian handled the ball outside the penalty box. Saish Salvi added the third in the very next minute to end the game on level terms.
Kopana FC beat Rudra FA coutesy of two first half strikes from Vicky Mangela and Ajinkya Birajdar. United Villagers edge Sara FA. Melborn Patil broke the deadlock minutes before half time as United Villagers went into the break with a solitary goal lead. On restart, Brijal Possa came into scoresheet with his second stike in as many games to double the lead. The game ended 2-0 as Sara FA failed to mount an comeback.
In the final quarter final game, Boxer FA edge Feugo tormento on Penalty Shootout to enter semi finals of 2020 MDFA Republic Cup. After a goalless 40 minutes of game, Boxer FA custodian Sumeet Kamble produced three brilliant saves between the sticks to deny Feugo Tormento any goals while Maxy D’souza converted his spot-kick to take home the game.
