In an exciting Elite Division fixtures, Kenkre came from two goals down to register a 3-2 win over Sellebrity FC while in other game, Mumbai Customs continued with the impressive run of form as Hekmat’s late strike helped the defending champions snatch a close 2-1 win against Maharashtra State Police.

At the Neville D’Souza ground, Sellebrity FC faced off against Kenkre FC on Thursday with former conceded its two goal lead to lose 2-3. Mrudul Parad gave Sellebrity the lead in the first half before Rajkumar doubled the score early in the second half. However, Kenkre fought back immediately with two quick goals from Yash Mhatre before Ashraffali struck a late 83rd minute winner for Kenkre.

Meanwhile at Cooperage ground, Customs started out brightly when in the 14th minute an aerial ball over MSP defence was headed over an onrushing goalkeeper by custom striker C.S. Naseef.

However, Customs surrendered their slender advantage when their seasoned defender Hekmat deflected the ball into his own goal in the 52nd minute and provided the state cops with the equalizer.

In the 88th minute, John Coutinho volleyed attempt was pushed away by MSP custodian however the ball fell the dependable Hekmat who atoned for his earlier mistake with a clean strike to secure Customs victory and the full three points.
