Companeroes SC ‘A’ and RSF Spartans SC shared the spoils as they were engaged on a 1-1 draw in a MDFA Elite Division match

Mumbai, January 14: Companeroes SC ‘A’ and RSF Spartans SC shared the spoils as they were engaged on a 1-1 draw in an Elite Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 2019-2020 and played at the Neville D’Souza ground on Tuesday.

In the game of end to end football, Companeroes took the lead early in the first half when in the 10 minute of the match Aniket Shivgan broke the deadlock which his goal bound attempt finding the back of net. Both sides entered the break at 1-0 in favour of Companeroes

In the second half, RSF Spartans started out brightly and just after the hour mark found the equalizer when Dhamanpreet Singh’s strike beat the keeper and found the back of the net to make it 1-1

Meanwhile, in 2nd division, The ‘B’ team of Companeroes SC team was also in action securing a goal less draw against Veera United FC, played out at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel.

Companeroes SC ‘A’ (Aniket Shivgan 10’) 1 – 1 RSF Spartans SC (Dhamanpreet Singh 65’)

Second Div:

Companeroes SC ‘B’ 0 – 0 Veera United FC
