WIFA Women’s Football League: Kenkre FC vanquish Future Star FC

Kenkre FC had a five-star performance in today’s WIFA Women’s Football League fixture where they got the better of Future Star FC by thumping 5 goals past them.

As the match kicked off, Kenkre FC thoroughly dominated and got their first breakthrough at the 26th minute. Techi Akung’s strike opened the scoreline for team Kenkre. Before the first half ended, Techi completed her brace by scoring another goal at the 46th minute.

Nothing changed in the final 45 minutes. Kenkre FC maintained their dominance. At the 57th minute, Sharda, who is the captain of Kenkre FC scored from a penalty to give them a comforting lead. They eased past their opponents as Jyoti further added to the tally at the 81st and during the dying moments of the match. Thus, Kenkre commanded the entire game and concluded with a commendable scoreline.

Kenkre FC is currently placed at the 2nd position of Group C having won a game and losing the other. Whereas Future Stars are yet to open their points tally after playing two games.

Football Leader’s Academy faces FC Kolhapur City in tomorrow’s fixture of the WIFA Women’s Football League.
