North East women football stars to meet and greet Bayern legend Lizarazu

Football fans may recollect that Mr. Jurgen Wolf (Managing Director, Hafele South Asia) had announced Hafele India as the ‘official regional partner’ of FC Bayern Munich in May 2018.

That partnership was the green signal for Hafele to bring Bayern’s football legends for a ‘Meet and Greet’ event in India. It also gives one lucky fan an opportunity to travel to Germany to watch a game at the Allianz Arena in Munich. Special limited edition official merchandise would help fans connect with their favorite football heroes!

The association is a match made in heaven as both Hafele and Bayern (an 118-year old entity) represent the synergies of ‘heritage, leadership, teamwork, training, passion and innovation’. Hafele and Bayern have their roots in Southern Germany (Bavaria) and possess over nine decades of tradition, expertise and precision — traits which have helped create a leadership position.

Both entities are going from strength to strength. If Bayern’s USP is innovative game strategy then Hafele has expanded in India, Bangladesh and Sri-Lanka (their chief regional markets) with renowned expertise in Interior Functionalities. Hafele wants to support football lovers and players in India who miss out on opportunities despite their talent. They consider North-East woman football stars as budding talents who can make India proud.

Bayern legend Bixente Lizarazu will visit Delhi (India) on February 2019 and also later meet with the north-east woman football stars. Hafele would thank Mr. Amstrong Pame (Director Youth Affairs Sports, Manipur), Mr. RK Nimai (General Secretary, Eastern Sporting Union & Former IAS) and Mr. Sadananda Hamom (Legendary Manipuri actor and football lover) for their support and motivation. The north-east players are sponsored by Hafele for their meeting with Lizarazu.

The felicitation took place on January 14, 2019 at the Eastern Sporting Union Ground, Manipur.
