MDFA Elite Division 2019-20 season, to commence from August 1

The 2019-20 season of Mumbai Football will kick-off from August 1, 2019 starting with prestigious Nadkarni Cup, which will be followed by MDFA’s Independence Cup, after which the regular league is set to begin.

Mumbai: The MDFA Elite Division teams will kick-off their season starting with the Nadkarni Cup 2019, which is scheduled to commence at the Cooperage ground, from August 1, 2019. The Elite Division (Corporate & Private) teams/clubs will be participating in this tournament.

After the completion of the Nadkarni Cup, the Elite Division teams will have the opportunity to participate in the annual MDFA Independence Cup 2019, which will likely be a two-day tournament to be played on August 14 and 15.

These two events would provide the Elite Division teams/clubs the chance to prepare for the forthcoming Elite Division League which is scheduled to commence by the third week of August.

MDFA has invited all the Elite Division teams/clubs who are expected to complete the registration formalities with the MDFA for the Nadkarni Cup, Independence Cup and the MDFA League, before the start of the Nadkarni Cup tournament. Teams which fail to complete the registration process or pay all the relevant entry fees will not be allowed to participate in the tournaments and the league.

Following are the fees:

Affiliation Fee: Rs 500.

Elite Div: Rs 55,000.

Nadkarni Cup: Rs 5,000.

Independence Cup: Rs 2,000.
