Sellebrity Premier League (SPL) 2018, so far:

2nd February 2018, Mumbai: In association with MDFA – Mumbai District Football Association, Sellebrity Football Academy organised a four-day tournament for Open category, Women’s category and U-16 category at Supari Talao Ground, Bandra. After two successful days on 27th and 28th January, SPL is set to resume on 3rd and 4th February where it will witness a conclusion. This is how Sellebrity Premier League has fared so far:

Open Category: Celtic, Companeroes, Game Kings, Azzure, Chimbai and Millat FC has stormed into the pre-quarters, finishing as either group winners or runners-up in their respective groups. Elsewhere, the likes of Sellebrity (Hosts), Baze, Rennaisance, Carmelites still have a good opportunity to go through to the pre-quarters, provided they win their games tomorrow.

Tomorrow’s open category fixtures: Ground 1 – Mumbai Marines vs Carmelites, Chimbai SC vs St. Jude, Geostanne United vs Parel Packers. Ground 2 – Renaissance vs Sporting Sensation, Bandra Blues vs Bandra FC, Sellebrity FC vs MK Boys, Mumbai Marines vs Millat FC.

Women’s Category: The likes of Bodyline SC, Baze, Companeroes and Bandra Packers have already booked their place in the semis. KNFC, Mumbai Warriors, GIFA and Rudra, unfortunately, bowed out of the tournament.

Tomorrow’s Women category fixtures: Ground 1 – GIFA vs Rudra and Bodyline SC vs Companeroes SC. Ground 2 – Bandra Packers vs Baze FC.

Women’s Semi-Final fixtures (4th February): Bandra Packers vs Companeroes SC and Bodyline SC vs Baze FC.

U-16 Category: Scorpions, Carmelites and M. United have already qualified for the quarter-finals which will be played tomorrow. The likes of Sellebrity, FCI, KNFC, Amigos and GIFA will battle it out tomorrow in hope to seal their place in the quarters.
Tomorrow’s U-16 category fixtures: Ground 1 – GIFA vs Amigos and Palkaya FC and FCI (A). Ground 2 – KNFC vs FCI (B) and Sellebrity vs Lemon Break.
