Mumbai gets a New Elite Football Program

SSE (Soccer Schools of Excellence) in association with OSCAR Foundation are planning a new Elite Football program for the city of Mumbai.

OSCAR SSE Elite – a football program which is led by OSCAR Foundation, a registered non profit organisation and Soccer Schools of Excellence (SSE), a grassroots academy in Mumbai, will be starting out its new Elite batches from the coming month.

OSCAR SSE invites advanced U13 and U15 players from all socioeconomic backgrounds to give their trials next month. Selected players will be trained around the year, 3 to 4 times a week at good facilities. These players will be developed by Elite Football Coaches, Nutritionists, Physiotherapists and Strength and Conditioning Coaches.

There will be an annual calendar to play regular 11 a side practice matches and official tournaments.

OSCAR Foundation (Organization for Social Change, Awareness and Responsibility) is a non-profit organization that through football instils the value of education and empowers underprivileged children and youth with life skills to take responsibility of their community development. On the other hand, SSE has been running soccer schools for the youngsters of the city while also conducting various football camps and tournaments – one of which is the renowned SSE Champions League.

The OSCAR SSE Elite club will be participating in District, State and National Leagues organised by AIFF (Youth I League), MDFA and WIFA depending on meeting criteria qualification.
