MS Police to resume their season against W. Railway

23rd February 2018, Mumbai: MS (Maharashtra State) Police are set to resume their MDFA Elite Division campaign after almost two months when they will lock horns against an in-form Western Railway side tomorrow at Cooperage Stadium. After a poor start, the Railways has picked up their form and will be looking for their sixth win against MS Police.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, MS Police suffered a humiliating 5-1 loss at the hands of KSA (Karnataka Sports Association) at Mumbai Football Arena (Andheri) in December. It was Polices’ third loss of the season in five games. Tomorrow will be a good chance for MS Police to get back on track after a poor run of form.

Western Railway recently defeated a strong Mumbai Customs side to continue their great form in the Elite Division. It was Mervin and Lineker’s sublime effort which helped the Railways to clinch a crucial win. They are currently sitting second in the table with five wins in nine games, accumulating 17 points in the process.

Their opponent MS Police is seventh in the table with seven points in six games. Goalkeeper Akash Vharamble, Bipin Kamble and Sagar Bhosle are some of the key players from MS Police while the likes of Mervin Stephens, Somi, Kenistan and Lineker are a few good names from the Railways.
