Maharashtra 7-0 Daman and Diu: Sub-Junior Boys Championship

18th August 2018, Mumbai: Maharashtra registered a whopping 7-0 victory over Daman and Diu in their opening game of Sub-Junior National Football Championship 2018-19 at Maharaja Umed Singh Stadium, Jodhpur. Under the guidance of Akhil Kothari and Mohammad Saad Ansari, Maharashtra left no stones unturned to pick up all three points to make a dream start.

Jaden Irani opened the scoring before Satish Kondamuri doubled the lead for Maharashtra. The goals kept coming as Daman and Diu struggled to keep Maharashtra’s attack at bay. Mustafa Shaikh, Yash Gangwal, and Jaden added three more goals just before the half-time whistle.

Adithyan Prithviraj and Mustafa scored Maharashtra’s sixth and seventh goal respectively to complete a resounding victory.
