Vipul Lad’s equalizer for Supreme FC held Utkarsh Mandal with a stalemate

4th February 2017, Mumbai: A hard fought match in the afternoon saw Supreme FC pull one goal back late in the second half to settle out for a draw against Utkarsh Mandal in the Second Division MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association), Group B fixture held at St. Xavier’s Ground, Parel.

Both the teams showed their grudges against each other but the first half of the game saw no signs of deadlock have being broken.

Though the game took a while to take off, substitute Aniket Bhatkande for the Mandals got on to break-down the deadlock as he well responded to his Managers (Maitreya Joshi) call in the 57th minute to make it 1-0.

Never too late to respond, as a strike by Vipul Lad from the trailing side pulled one back to make it all square in the 65th minute.

Along the other side of the scoresheet, there were players like Aniket Bhojane, Substitute Mikhail Almeida both from Supreme FC & Suraj Dawre from the opponent side got on to the referees note for conceding a yellow card each during the game.

As the score went equally on both the sides, Utkarsh Mandal & Supreme FC deservedly earned them a point each in the Group B table of the Second Division MDFA.
