SSE Champions League Returns for Season 7

Soccer Schools of Excellence, one of the go-to academies training young footballers of the city, returns with their flagship tournament ‘SSE Champions League’ for season 7.

One of the very successful grassroots tournaments of the city ‘SSE Champions league’ now in its seventh year will return with changes to add more competitiveness. The tournament will now be a 7 – a side contest for the age groups U10s to U16s.

The league will be played at Karnataka Sports Association (KSA) Ground commencing from the month of November 2017. Earlier top Mumbai schools like the American School of Bombay, Ascend International, B.D Somani International, DSB German School, JBCN International, Oberoi International School and much more have participated in the previous editions of the SSE Champions League and will be expected to return again for this year.

These initiatives of football academies for younger crops of players with a platform to showcase their skills and abilities will greatly help in budding future stars. Sectors like Non-Government Organisations (NGO) have also been involved in the SSE Champions League from their 1st season with teams from the SSE Foundation, Oscar India, and Magic Bus also participating alongside clubs like CCI and NSCI also taking part.

Soccer Schools of Excellence already participates in the Mumbai football circuit and currently have a team playing third division of MDFA. The Academy is now aiming to field a team in Youth I-League in the forthcoming years.

Soccer Schools of Excellence (SSE) is a football academy who has been making their name pretty synonymous with the Football fraternity in Mumbai over the last 7 years. SSE trains over 1000 players every week at 29 different centres and schools in Mumbai.
