Sanaya Anklesaria to captain MDFA women’s team
Mumbai, January 22: Sanaya Anklesaria has been named the captain of the Mumbai District Football Association women’s team that will participate in the Maharashtra State Inter-District women’s tournament organised by the Jalgaon District Football Association and to be played at Jalgaon.
The Mumbai team left for Jalgaon on Sunday morning. Mumbai opens their campaign against Phalgaron Monday and in the next match taking on Thane District.
The team is being coached by Fenny Fernandes, while Mrs Tarranum Ansari has accompanied the squad as the manager.
The 18-member team: Riya Tank (GK), Meenakshi Bhagat, Mayuri Morey, Shreya Rathod, Gauri Pawar, Priyanka Ahirau, Shreeya Yadav (GK), Aditi Shetty, Karen Pais, Sanaya Anklesaria, Anushka Fernandez, Sneha Shinde, Valencia Mascarenhas, Madonna Fernandez, Muskaan Chauhan, Kimberly Fernandez, Snehal Manchkar, Priya Tiwari.
