Another Sunday, another fun day in the 5th India Rush Soccer Champions League competition as we were treated some mouth-watering football matches. No, Cristiano and Messi did not show up! The bright future of our country, i.e. the kids of Mumbai put on a stellar show.
Here is a round-up for everything you missed on the 5th February, 2017 i.e. this Sunday. Sit back and relax, Football Counter has it covered.
In the U8 category, IRSC Bandra were beaten 4-1 by the Bright Stars. Gaurav from Bright Stars scored all four goals to clearly stand out as the performer of the match. Ishaan grabbed IRSC Bandra’s only goal.
The U10 category saw 36 goals scored in the four matches played. IRSC and Bright Star A played out a 1-1 draw. Aarav and Ratnesh being their scores respectively. The next match between IRSC Chembur and SMPR saw a total of 12 goals scored. It was SMPR who ran out 10-2 winners. Rhythm scoring majority of the goals with 6, Hemit grabbed 2 and Kevin & Prince scored a goal each.
Going ahead in the U10 category, Bright Stars A thumped Bright Star B in the Bright Star derby with a score line of 6-3. It was a goal fest certainly. For Bright Stars A, Ratnesh scored a hattrick and was complemented with a goal each from Shlok, Adib and Rishikesh. Shubham scored two for the B team and the other scorer was Dalesh. The IRS Bandra romped through IRSC Chembur with a 13-1 score line. Aarav starred this match with six goals to his name. Aameer scored a hattrick, Vishal with a brace and to round up the scoring Veer and Keegan grabbed a goal each. An absolute thumping, IRS Bandra was in no mood to stop scoring.
Taking you through the matches that took place in the U12 category. Invincible FC was in no mood to stop scoring as they beat Atom FC 15-1. Samar scored an astonishing 10 goals for the Invincible FC side. Diyan and Krishiv registered a brace each and Shaurya also scored a goal. Being romped 15-1, Viraj got a consolation goal back.
The other two matches were an edge of the seat affair, both being end to end. Bandra Strikers edged The Stallions 3-2 with Neel scoring a brace and Krishiv yet again on target for the Strikers. Joytendra and Sumeira were the goal scorers for the Stallions. Invincible FC got past Goal Getters by 2-1 with Krishiv and Samar on target for them. Shiven was the only scorer for the Goal Getters.
