Kenkre – ‘Go Green’ Cup 2017 (Day 1)

With another successful Kenkre Champions League edition behind us, the city of Mumbai gets ready for the Go Green Cup 2017. Another brainchild of Rustomjee Kenkre that promotes awareness of conservation of nature coupled with some magnificent display of football. Here is all the round-up of the action that took place on Day 1( 5^th March 2017)

Under-12 A

• Kooh Sports U12A pulled off a shocking 1-0 win over the FFA U12 courtesy of the goal from Yash Kaushik.
• A hat-trick from Yash Patwardhan lead Kooh Sports U12A to a 6-1 win over the Chelsea Bosco Boys. The others amongst the goals were Yash Kaushik and Aryan.
• Hanzala Kapadia’s brace coupled with a goal from Aarav gave FFA U12 a 3-0 win over Chelsea Bosco Boys.

Under 12-B

• Bosco Gladiators won a match they bossed throughout as Vandan Nandoskar scored a brilliant hat-trick to guide them past SSE Lions.
• A brace from Ethan Ray Falcon and goals from Vivaan, Calvin, Parth, Shayne and Jaffer gave Stanislaus Boys U12 a 7-1 win over Bosco Gladiators.
• The Stanislaus Boys U12 notched their second win of the day as they beat SSE Lions 3-0 courtesy goals from Parth, Calvin and Jaffer.

Under-12 C

• Total FAU12 were given a walkover (3-0 win) as the Falcao side failed to turn up.
• The Falcao and DJ Strikers played out a 0-0 draw.
• Total FA U12 played out a thrilling 2-2 draw against the DJ Strikers. Akshat Shetye scored a brace for Total FA U12 while Yashas More scored a brace DJ Strikers.

Under12-D

• Kooh Sports U12 B emerged 2-0 winners over Young Strikers courtesy of a brace from Krish Shetty.
• Joshua Mendes was in no mood to stop scoring getting on the scoresheet nine times as Jaguars XF demolished the Young Strikers 14-0.
• Another match saw Joshua Mendes score 5 goals adding to his tally of 9 in the previous game as Jaguars XF beat Kooh Sports U12 B by 8-0.

Under-14 A

• A sensational hat-trick from Arnav guided Aspire team to a 5-1 win over the Total FA U14 side.
• Bosco Dragons thumped the Ironborn Eagles 3-0 with Harsh Palande’s magnificent hat-trick.
