MDFA: Sagar MM shock group A leaders TPS with 3-0 win in 2nd division
Sagar MM (B) trounced Group A leader with 3-0 win in 2nd division while Rhino FC played out a goal less draw with Catholic GymKhana in 1st division
1st Division:
The 1st division group A encounter between Rhino FC and Catholic Gym. ended in stalemate as neither teams managed to draw a goal even once.
Group A: Rhino FC 0 – 0 Catholic Gymkhana
2nd Division:
In the second division group C game, Youth Soccer Academy picked their first win of the campaign with a 2-1 win over Air India (WR), who are yet to find a win for themselves. Akshay Benbanshi scored the opening goal on the 11th minute before Gandhar Chavan drew parity for Air India (WR). However Akshay restored the lead early in the second half to finish the game with all three points for Youth Soccer Academy.
Group C: Youth Soccer Academy 2 – 1 Air India (WR)

In another game, Juhu Strikers defeated Naval Dockyard 2-1 to remain in the top 3 of group G table. Ryan D’silva hit the net eleven minutes in to the game to make it 1-0 for Juhu strikers. Nine minutes later Deepak Singh doubled the lead as juhu strikers headed in to break with a 2-0 score line. However Dhiraj Jagitiala pulled one back for Naval Dockyard midway to the second half. The game ended with 2-1 as Naval Dockyard’s search of first win continues.
Group G: Juhu Strikers 2 (Ryan D’silva 11, Deepak Singh 20’) – 1 Naval Dockyard (Dhiraj Jagitiala 54’)
In the final 2nd division game, Sagar Mitra Mandal (B) shocked group A leaders TPS with a 3-0 win. Rohit Chavan, Sameer Bhaskar and Harshal Kadam were on the score sheet as Sagar MM (B) jumped four spots to be placed at 4th position in Group A table.
