MDFA: Millat FC halts Mumbai Rush winning run in 2nd division

Mumbai Rush suffer first loss while ICL U19 continue unbeaten streak in 2nd division. In 3rd division, Juhu Beach United’s search for win continues after 3-0 loss to PD Hinduja SC

In a Group A encounter of 3rd division, PD Hinduja smashed three past Juhu Beach United to pick their 2nd win of the campaign. Harish Sachdev opened the scoring minutes before break before Amol kadam and Omkar Sambare finished off the game in 2nd half with back to back goals within minutes. With this loss, Juhu Beach United’s search for 1st win continues.

16th Nov. 2nd Division:
In a second division game two goals on either side of the half gave ICL U19 their second win of campaign as they topple Datta Krida Mandal to reach third spot in group F table. Aaryan Bhandari struck minutes before the break to give ICL a lead, DKM came back strong in the 2nd half but couldn’t find the equalizer. Alfred Palan’s late goal with three minutes of full time left ended DKM’s come back chance as the game fizzled out to a 2-0 result for ICL U19

In another 2nd division game, Millat FC edged Mumbai Rush to secure their first win of campaign and halt Mumbai rush’s winning streak to just two games. Faraz Khan’s 31st minute goal put Millat in front an despite Mumbai Rush’s numerous attempt the game ended at 1-0 result. The lost meant Mumbai Rush’s chance of going on top of the group C table was hit a road block as they still remained two points behind group leaders in fourth spot.
