MDFA 3rd Division: Yeshuva FC, SVKM FC win big on Day 20

Rincon, Yashovardhan hattricks give huge wins for Yeshuva FC and SVKM FC respectively while Zane D’Souza scored a brace for SDKT on Day 20 of 3^rd Division MDFA

After losing their first game, SVKM came out with firing on all cylinders, hammering six goals past a struggling FC Mumbaikars. Yashovardhan Chhokar was the star of the show with an outstanding performance in the opponent’s box chipping with four goals to his name alone. Aaditya Rao and Sanchit Agarwal contributed the rest two. For the Mumbaikers, Gerald barrette and Basim Shaikh hit the net but that wasn’t enough to save the game

Game 1: SVKM FC (Yashovardhan 11’,20’,26’,29’, Aaditya Rao 23’, Sanchit Agarwal 32’) 6 – 2 FC Mumbaikars (Gerald Barretto 10′,  Basim Shaikh 38’)

On a day with high scoring affairs, a solitary goal from Faizan Shaikh turned out to be the winner for O’sheikh FC on the second game of the day. Twinkle star failed to break their opponents defence as O‘shaikh picked their second win of the campaign.

Game 2: Twinkle Star FC 0 – 1 O’Sheikh FC (Faizan Shaikh 14’)

In the 3^rd game of the day, Madanpura SC were completely routed out by Yeshuva FC losing by a huge eight goal margin. Rincon Gonsalves scored an hattrick as Murugun Devendra chipped in with a brace. Royson Almeida, Chacko George and Nimesh Shetty contributed with one goal apiece to complete the route.

Game 3: Madanpura SC 0 – 8 Yeshuva FC (Royson Almeida 2’, Nimesh Shetty 16’, Rincon Gonsalves 22’, 39’,50’, Murugun Devendra 40’, 42’, Chacko George 24’)

In the next game, SDKT picked up a comfortable victory over Chembur YMCA condemning the latter to a second 3-0 loss. Zane Dsouza opened the scoring in the first half with a quick brace. Shubham then tripled the lead with a second half strike to put the game away from Chembur side.

Game 4: Chembur YMCA 0 – 3 SDKT (Zane Dsouza 11’, 21’, Shubham Govalkar 47’)

The final game of the day saw Hegdewar Boys face off against Kapadia Nagar FA. Goals from Arif Ansari and Himanshu Sonawane gave Kapadia Nagar their second of win of the campaign while sending hegdewar boys to a second loss.

Game 5: Hegdewar Boy 0 – 2 Kapadia Nagar FA (Arif Ansari 18’, Himanshu Sonawane 23’)
