MDFA 3rd Division: Western India United, Sanpada FC pick up wins on Day 24
Captain Chirag’s goal takes Western India United FC to first win of 3rd division MDFA campaign while Sanpada FC too picked up their first win
Day 24 started with Western India United FC picking out their first win of campaign against Jeevies FC. Captain Chirag Mirachandani led from the front scoring the 40th minute goal in the process getting his team in lead and eventual winner. Jeevies are now placed at bottom of the group C while Western India United FC move to 3rd spot.

Game 2 of the day between group D teams ended in an goal less draw as neither Holy Cross nor Wipul Gorai FC managed to break the deadlock. Despite the draw Vipul Gorai FC moved to top spot of the table courtesy better goal difference with four points from two games.

In the last game of the day, Sanpada FC faced off against Boxer FA in a group F encounter. Goals from Sumedh Chilwante and Swastik Vishyakarma on either side of break gave Sanpada FC a comfortable 2-0 win. Despite sharing same points in the table, Sanpada FC currently sit above Boxer FA with just a goal difference separating the two.
