While Om Sai and Miners played a hard fought draw, United villagers and Sachivalaya Gym pick easy wins on Day 21 of MDFA 3rd Division

Sachivalaya moved to second spot in Group B standings after picking up a 2-0 win against Somaiya S A to make it four points in 2 outings following a draw in their opening game. After a goalless first half, Arvind naga put Sachivalaya in front in the 36th minute to make it 1-0. Four minutes later Deepak Chimankar doubled the lead as the game slipped out of Somaiya SA’s reach.

The second game between Om Sai Dham Seva and Miners FC ended in a draw. Jenith Israel’s brace for miners turned out to be instrumental in equaliser and then taking a lead, although Tejas Borkar pulled Om Sai on level terms minutes away from full time. Pratikshe hande 12th minute strike had earlier put Om Sai in lead before Israel’s heroics for Miners FC

In the group g encounter of the day, united Villagers brushed aside IFC with a 4-0 result. After Royden Pila 3rd minute goal Brijal Possa’s brace spreaded out on either side of the game gave a 3-0 lead. A late goal from Melbourne Patil made it 4-0 as United Villagers moved to the 2nd spot of the table.

Game 3: Indian Football Club 0 – 4 United Villagers (Royden Pila 3’, Brijal Possa 24’, 41’, Melbourne Patil 43’)

In the last game of the day, Indian FA scored two goals one of which into their own net to draw the game against Mangesh SA. Ayush Warang’s own goal had put Mangesh into an unlikely early lead however Pranjal Khanna’s 20th minute strike pulled back the score on level terms.
