MDFA 3rd Division: Subhjit scores four in Vignesh Naicker FC’s 5-0 win

RCF Colony Boys unbeaten run continues while Subhjit Singh stars in Vignesh Naicker FC 5-0 win over Chembur YMCA. In other game, Pioneer Residency wins big with a 4-1 win over Shree Nidhi FC

The only morning game of Day 33 for 3^rd division was a group J encounter between Kapadia Nagar FA and United FC. The game ended at 1-1 draw after a Zuber Khan’s 11^th minute goal for Kapadia Nagar was cancelled out by a Kashif Bagdadi’s 21^st minute strike that brought United FC on level terms.

Game 1: Kapadia Nagar FA (Zuber Khan 11’) 1 – 1 United FC (Kashif Bagdadi 21’)

In the evening game of Group I fixture, Vignesh Naicker FC hammered five goals past a hapless Chembur YMCA. Subhjit Singh was the star of the show scoring four goals of the five while Ganesh Swami chipped in with the one other goal.

Game 2: Vignesh Naicker FC 5 (Subhjit Singh 7’, 30’, 35’, 44’, Ganesh Swami 45’) – 0 Chembur YMCA

In the third 3^rd Division game of the day, Pioneer Residency faced Shree Nidhi FC for a Group K game. In a lop-sided affair, Pioneer Residency picked up a comfortable win with a 4-1 score line. Faizal Khan and Rehan Naqwa put Pioneer in front before the break, while Salman Khan and Suraj Sonawane increased the lead in the second half. Shiv patil’s 45^th minute goal was the only bright spot for Shree Nidhi FC.

Game 3: Pioneer Residency 4 (Faizal khan, 18’, Rehan Naqwa 24’, Salman Khan 37’, Suraj Sonawane 45’) – 1 Shree Nidhi FC (Shiv Patil 45’)

In the final game, Lemon Break Sports faced RCF Colony boys for a group M game, In an exciting affair, Pratik Dabak struck a brace spread either side of the break to make it 2-0 for RCF Boys. Soon Ronit Shetty pulled one back in the next few minutes to make it an interesting final ten minutes. However RCF held on to finish the game with three points
