MDFA 3rd Division: Renaissance, Victorians win on Day 35
Renaissance, Victorians FC pick easy wins over Jeevies FC and IFS Cooperage on Day 35 of MDFA 3rd Division fixtures.
In the evening fixture of Group B, Victorians FC faced off against IFS Cooperage. Atul Jadhav’s 16th minute strike in the first half gave Victorians a lead as both sides played end to end football. Despite, IFS Cooperage’s best effort they failed to break Victorians sturdy defence as the game ended at 1-0 with IFS Cooperage’s losing streak for this year yet to halt.

In the final game of the day, Jeevies FC faced off against Renaissance for a group C fixture. Both teams are placed at different ends of the group C table with renaissance topping the group with dominant performance while at the other end Jeevies were yet to open their account in the points table. This game was no different with Renaissance making a quick work off their opponent. Vinayak Kodkani, Lordson Soares and Sylester Chunekar scoring the goals to make it a comfortable 3-0 win for Renaissance.
