Sterkem Pharma FC, Lakers FC open their 2nd Division campaign with a wins while Classic Sports club, Dadar XI play out a goal less draw.

In a Group H encounter, GKW Rangers faced against Sterkem Pharma with the latter earning a hard fought win. Nitin Panhale opened the scoring in the 10th minute to put Sterkem Pharma FC in lead. But soon Mihir Kopikar put GKW on level terms with the 26th minute goal as the game went in to break at 1-1 score line. However Nitin Panhale put the team back in front early in the second half with the 43rd minute strike. The game ended at 2-1 score line with the Sterkem Pharma FC picking all 3 points.

In a group A game of the day Classic sports club faced off against Dadar eleven. In a cagey affair neither side managed to break the deadlock as the game ended at a goal less draw.

Game 2: Classic Sports Club 0 – 0 Dadar XI

In the final 2nd division game, Lakers FC outclassed Bombay Disabled 2-0 to open their points tally. Rupesh Shetty opened the scoring in the 23rd minute to make it 1-0 before the break. In the second half, Divesh Shetty doubled the lead in the 46th minute to make it 2-0 as the game ended.
