Joshua Generation defeated Tata Power while in another game Jolly boys edge out with a 1-0 result against ten men Indian Gymkhana in 2nd division fixture of MDFA

The day began on a dull note with group B fixtures where Lakers FC played out a goal less draw against Vision Rescue. Both teams coming from a win in their opening match ended up sharing a point a piece.

Game 1: Lakers FC 0 – 0 Vision Rescue

In the second fixture, group C teams Jolly Boys faced Indian Gymkhana with the former picking up a 1-0 win. After a goal less first half, Jolly Boys took an immediate lead in the second half with Rajiv yadav finding the net. Indian Gymkhana’s comeback attempt hit a road block when Mayuresh Deshmukh got himself sent off reducing the team to ten men. Despite the opponent being a man down Jolly boys couldn’t double the lead with the game ending at 1-0 result.

Game 2: Jolly Boys (Rajiv Yadav 40’) 1 – 0 Indian Gymkhana

In the group D game of the day, TATA power lost out to Joshua generation in a 0-2 result. Both teams coming from a win in their first game seemed on even terms before Kandaswamy Konar hit the net minute before half time to give Joshua Generation a 1-0 lead going into break. After the break, Mohsin Siddiqui doubled the lead in the 64th minute to make it 2-0. With the win Joshua generation are now in the second spot in group d table.
