ICL U19 dominant run in group F of 2nd division continues with a comprehensive 4-0 win over bottom placed MMC. Alfred Palan opened the scoring in the 9th minute which was doubled by Brent Fernandes in the 21st minute. Five minutes later the lead was tripled after Aaryan Bhandari’s shot found the net before Brent Fernandes completed his brace with the fourth strike at the half hour mark. With this win, ICL U-19 secure top spot with 10 points in four games alongside IIT Powai A while MMC’s woeful form continues with their third consecutive loss.

Game 1: MMC 0 – 4 ICL U-19 (Alfred Palan 9’, Brent Fernandes 21’, 30’, Aaryan Bhandari 26’)

In another group C fixture, after three back to back losses bottom placed Utkarsh Mandal finally struck form as they defeated group C mid-table team Indian Gymkhana 1-0 to open their points tally. Melburn Lawrence struck the solitary goal in the 24th minute of the game to hand Indian gymkhana their second loss of the campaign. The win lifts Utkarsh Mandal from bottom spot to penultimate position.
