MDFA 2nd Division: CSL start campaign with a 3-0 win
TPS (Grey athletic) edges past Oscar Foundation to make it 2 wins in a row, while CSL, Castle Boys pick comfortable wins in the 2nd division of MDFA fixtures.
In an opening encounter of the day, Castle Boys produced an inspired second half performance against Juhu Strikers to score four goals in the space of 20 minutes and run away with the game. Mayie Dsilva opened the scoring in the 8th minute after which despite best efforts from both sides the game went to break at 1-0 score. Five minutes in to the second half, Juhu striker’s player Ryan Dsilva scored an equaliser to put things back into level pegging. However, Castle boys soon came back with all guns blazing Dean Pereira pulling the team back in lead which was followed by Wayne Trinidade scoring a brace and Brabourne finishing of the game with a fifth goal.

In the second game, CSL trounced Charotter Rukhi Samaj with a 3-0 win to start their second division campaign with a comfortable victory. Aftar Khan struck in 20th minutes to open the goal scoring proceedings before Amrit Semwal doubled the lead in the 48th minute. Ten minutes later, Saif Shaikh finished off the game with the third goal to make it 3-0.

In the final game of the day, Oscar Foundation played against TPS for a group A fixture. A second half strike from Shadab Ansari gave TPS a second win on the row in their second division campaign after the opening game win against Milan FA.
