MDFA 2nd & 3rd Division: Viral Waghela scores hat-trick in Boombastic’s 4-0 win

Viral hat-trick gives Boombastic FA a big win while SVKM FC pick a 3-0 win riding on Yashovardhan’s brace. In 2nd division, Naval Dockyard and Sporting Option FC play out a draw

2^nd Division

In the only 2^nd division game of the day, Naval Dockyard faced Sporting Option FC for a group G fixture. Through the game neither side managed to break the deadline as the game ended at a 0 – 0 draw with both sides taking away a point

Game 1: Naval Dockyard 0 – 0 Sporting Option FC

3^rd Division

In the group M fixture of third division, Boombastic FA faced SSE united with former winning comfortably courtesy Viral Waghela’s hat-trick. Viral Waghela hit the net three times back to back to make the score 3-0 before Harsad finished off the game with a fourth goal.

Game 2: Boombastic FA 4 (Viral Waghela 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, Harshad Dhumale 4^th) – 0 SSE United

In the final game SVKM FC faced off against BVSS FC with the former winning the group N fixture. Yashovardhan Chhokar opened the scoring  for SVKM before Vasoo Wadhwan doubled the lead. Yashovardhan came back to score his second and tripled the lead as the game ended at 3-0 score – line.

Game 3: SVKM FC 3 (Yashovardhan Chhokar 1^st,3^rd, Wasoo Wadhwan 2^nd) – 0 BVSS FC

In the final game of the day, Bassiem United faced off against South Mumbai FC for a group A game. Group A leaders were just separated by two points with Bassiem leading the table. Nikhil Pardeshi opened the scoring in 10^th minute but Jason Lopez made it even two minutes later. Abdul Khatri struck at 20^th minute to put South Mumbai back in lead but Bassiem United even things out again two minutes later when Jason completed his brace. The game ended at 2-2 score with Bassiem United winning streak coming to an end with the draw.

Game 4: Bassiem United (Jason Lopez 14’, 22’) 2 – 2 South Mumbai FC (Nikhil Pardeshi 12’, Abdul Khatri 20’)
