Kenkre FC stay unbeaten occupy top position

Mumbai, February 10: Mumbai club Kenkre FC stay unbeaten as they came away unscathed in a goalless draw with Fateh Hyderabad AFC in a fourth round Group-C league match of the Second Division I-League at the Gachibowli Stadium Ground, Hyderabad.

The previous meeting between the two sides was also completed in a goalless draw at the Cooperage Football Stadium, Mumbai late last month.

Kenkre FC currently with 8 points from two wins (2-1 against Ozone FC and 1-0 against Pride Sports) and two draws are placed in top position in the group followed by Fateh Hyderabad who have 6 points from 1 win and 3 draws. Ozone FC, Bengaluru are in third place with four points but have a match in hand against bottom-placed Pride Sports FC, Jabalpur who has lost all three games played so far.

With this positive results, there is no doubt about Kenkre’s qualification, they would love to see themselves advance to the final round of the 2nd division I-league.

The Mumbai side has two games remaining in the group against Pride Sports on February 16 and Ozone FC on February 24. Both are home games for Kenkre FC.
