Mumbai: The second playoff match of the day played between Karnatak Amateurs and Manglore Blues. Both the teams showed plenty of intent and dominated play for long spells, but they were unlucky not to find the back of the net and were forced to settle for a goalless stalemate in a thrilling playoff match of the 21st Late Shri Ramanath Payyade Memorial Football League Tournament 2016 –2017, conducted by the Karnatak Sporting Association and played at the KSA ground, Cross Maidan on Sunday.

It was a crucial match for both sides as the winner of this match would book the berth in the finals against Mogoveera SC. The first half started on the very cautious note but as the minute went by both the teams started pressing on oppositions half.

After a barren first half, Manglore blues started on a brighter note and managed to bring themselves a couple of chances but failed to convert . Manglore blues were looking desperate for the win but Karnatak Amatures defense stood tall as the game ended without any goal at the final whistle.
