Juhu Spark shut out Central Railway M/D to triumph 2-0, Jamboree FC & Football Leader SC draw 1-1
Mumbai: Juhu Spark got the better of Central Railway M/D in their Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA), Super Division match held at St Xavier’s ground, Parel on Tuesday, 11th April 2017.
The first match under the floodlights brought joy for Juhu Spark who delivered a clinical performance to blank Central Railway M/D by 2-0. Goals scored on other side of halftime got the Juhu side all three points. Manoj Upadhyay opened the scoring in the 28th minute. The Juhu Spark side led 1-0 at the break.
In the second half, we saw some resolute defending from both the teams as they looked to calm things around. But the second goal for Juhu came in the 90th minute from A.Fernandes who made no mistake to get the better of the Central Railway keeper. Three points stamped and sealed for Juhu Spark.

Sanket Nagrale opened the scoring for Jamboree FC in the 19th minute and his goal was cancelled by Rohit Shinde from Football Leader in the 26th minute as both teams shared the spoils thus taking a point each.
