Jambori Sports and Charitable Trust to organise 9-A side football tournament

Mumbai: A week from now, a 9-A side football tournament will be organised by Jambori Sports and Charitable Trust. The unique thing about this tournament is that it will be played at one of the city’s most popular football ground, St. Xavier’s Sports Complex, Parel.

The Tournament is scheduled to be played on 17th and 18th June (Saturday & Sunday) which will play a big factor in attracting a huge number of people. Over the last three decades, the St. Xavier’s Ground has given Mumbai Football a number of talented and bright players which has helped the city to promote football on a large scale.

A total of 32 teams will be featuring in the 7th edition of Jambori Sports and Charitable Trust Monsoon Football Tournament. The winners getting an amount of Rs. 21,000/- and Runners-up will be awarded Rs. 10,000/-. There will be also an individual award for Best Player and Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament.
