Elite Division: KSA to face Kenkre FC tomorrow
21st November 2017, Mumbai: One of the top sides in Mumbai, Kenkre FC will play their first match of the season when they will lock horns against a strong KSA (Karnataka Sports Association) side tomorrow in the MDFA – Mumbai District Football Association Elite Division match at Cooperage Stadium.
Unlike Kenkre FC, tomorrow’s encounter will be KSA’s third match of the season. In their first game of the campaign, KSA suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat at the hands of Western Railway in an intense encounter.
On 9th October, in their second game, KSA had played out a thrilling 3-3 draw against an in-form Union Bank of India (UBI) side. KSA would have ended up losing the match but a strong response saw them earn a point as they came back from 3-1 down to level the score at 3-3.
Nascimento Santiago scored a brace, whereas, experienced player Tarique Ansari scored the other goal in a six-goal thriller. The same performance can be expected by KSA when they will meet Kenkre FC tomorrow. Over the years, both these sides have played out nerve-wrenching games in the Elite Division and with Kenkre FC kicking off their campaign tomorrow, it will be quite interesting to see both their approaches.
