FC Goa

Chennaiyin FC

Strength

FC Goa has an ideal troop to master the midfield. The inclusion of experienced, proven stars like Lanzarote and Arana will add much functional ability to the sides. The presence of Brandon, along with these foreigners could buoy their squad in their ISL jaunt.

Weakness

Even though they have a good squad, FC Goa has no much fatal man to lead their line. The services of Colunga, and Ferrnan could flare their upfront, but has no guarantee. While among the Indians, Manvir is the best, but he doesn’t have experience playing in a such level of football.

Player to watch out for

Manuel Lanzarote – One of the best signings the team have made this time, Spaniard Manuel Lanzarote is a much threat in the flanks, and he has already proved his worth, after making stellar appearance during the pre-season. His experience, and his ability would undoubtedly add strength to the Gaurs, and his presence would boost both their midfield and their attack.

Strength

The team is blessed with quality attackers to function upfront. With the likes of Jeje Lalpekula, Rene Mihelic and co with them, the team have one of the most lethal attackers at its arsenal.

Weakness

Chennaiyin has an almost balanced squad for this edition, and the fact is that they’ve no serious weakness in the squad. However, the unsuccessful managerial career of Gregory and the absence of some quality, still experienced right-back can be found in the team. Excluding the presence of Augusto, the side have no credible foreign fancy recruitments to act as the cornerstone of the team.

Player to watch out for

Augusto Fernandes – The Brazilian magician was among one of the finest performers of their then side, which battled in the third edition of the league. Amazed the nation with his skill and pace, Augusto was a peril for the opponents as his dribbled past the opponents for the benefit of Chennaiyin. Augusto will be looking to redecorate the Chennaiyin midfield again this season, he is the one whom Gregory might have opted to play the orchestra.
