WeCare FC topple Bharat FC, Veera United win 1-0!
Mumbai: WeCare FC produced a fluent performance to beat Bharat FC 2-0 in the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA), Second Division match held at St Xavier’s ground Parel.
A game that was decided in two crucial minutes of the first half. Suhas More put WeCare FC in front in the 23rd minute. While as it was looking that Bharat FC would equalise, a sudden lapse in concentration allowed Roshan Mangela to double the lead for his side.
A comeback looked uncertain with the urgency and spirit showed by WeCare FC to protect their two-goal lead and ran away with three crucial points.
Veera United edged out Sirf Keval FC by 1-0 in the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA), Third Division match held at St Xavier’s ground Parel.
It was a game that saw its winner early in the first half itself when Vishal Patil netted the only goal of the match in the third minute. From there on there was very little in terms of goals in the match and Veera United walked away with a win.
