Surya Naiker nets hat-trick for Vision Rescue against MMC in Second Division
On 4th November 2016, riding on Surya Naiker’s brilliant hat-trick, Vision Rescue thumped MMC 4-0 in MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) 2nd Division match at St. Xavier’s Ground, Parel.
Right from the kick-off, MMC looked disjointed and lacked team spirit. Their counterpart Vision Rescue was quite sharp and looked united for the majority of the match.
After dominating for almost the first half an hour, Vision Rescue finally had their breakthrough when Surya Naiker put them in front through a brilliant finish inside the box.
Vision Rescue held on to their lead and went into the break with a one-goal advantage through Surya’s solitary goal.
Surya continued from where he took off. Minutes into the second half, Surya scored his second of the match with a sublime goal to make it 2-0 for Vision Rescue in the 41st minute.
Nine minutes later, Surya netted his hat-trick after a stunning goal straight into the back of the net to increase Vision Rescue’s lead to three goals.
Joel Fernandes scored the final and fourth goal in the 55th minute for Vision Rescue to register a memorable 4-0 victory.
