Siliguri: The defending champion India, will have the advantages as they are the host for the 2016 SAFF Women’s Championship. The tournament will start from 26th December 2016 and final will be played on 4th January 2017 at Kanchenjunga Stadium in Siliguri.

“Although legendary ballplayer ‘Bembem Devinot’ is not there with us as a player, but she is very much with the girls to share her expertise and loads of experience. Now the onus is on the girls to show their mettle ahead of the supporters”, Sajid stated at the press conference.
