RCF Premier Cup: Tournament Preview

With RCF Premier Cup kick starting from 15th December 2016 onwards for the very seventh year, the tournament is quickly growing in stature, as a host of the Elite Division teams will take part in this grand event, let’s hope this tournament comes with the more enthusiasm and passion for football from all over the country and makes it a successful one.

The event is organised by RCF Colony Boys Krida & Sanskrutik Mandal.
Before concluded RCF Nadkarni Cup, there is a lot of excitement about the Premier Cup.

Over the past seven years, RCF Premier Cup has consistently been the springboard for all the teams who play one of the best competitive divisions in MDFA which include both Super Division as well as the Elite Division which gets the spectators an Outstation Challenge to watch out for.

This Cup has something about knockout football and floodlights. Be it the UEFA Champions League or the RCF Premier Cup, there is something magical about football under the lights especially with the drama and anxiety of knockout football. With the winter having well and truly taken its guard, there will be added spice to these nights at the RCF Colony.

Under RCF there are even more 2 categories organised to help promote Indian football with one for the grass root level referring to the last MDFA  U14 which had a huge success and the other for all the passionate Women category who usually don’t get the opportunity to showcase their ability but not anymore as we have this tournament to promote the Men’s Open, Men’s U14 & Women’s league all under the name of this beautiful organisation.

On 15th  December the tournament will kick off at 4:00 pm by 2014 winners Air India and Century Rayon and will be ending with this year’s winners and runners-up on the 18th December 2016. With an excitement and curiosity to know who lifts the cup this year, we at Footballcounter will try to relay the journey of the wannabes throughout the tournament dated 15th, 16th for pre-quarters, 17th for quarters and 18th for semis and finals.
