Paul Scholes set to play in India’s new Premier Futsal League
With legendary footsteps gracing India, one more star name is added to the list for helping us develop, Former England midfielder Paul Scholes is set to play in India’s new futsal league Premier futsal after signing a three-year marquee deal. The futsal league is set to start from next month July 15th.
Scholes looking forward to meeting the fans across India and states Premier futsal will be a great way to introduce the game in India, as it is a fascinating game and will help build skills.
Premier futsal is an indoor variant of football played with five players on a side with a small and less bouncy ball as in the traditional sport on a hard court surface.
Premier Futsal co-founder, Nithyashree Subban added: “We are extremely proud to announce Paul Scholes as the marquee player for Premier Futsal.”
“Through a pioneering model for introducing futsal and a holistic approach to breeding home-grown talent, Premier Futsal aims to be the marquee all-star futsal tournament in the world.”
Before Ex-Chelsea and Barcelona midfielder Deco has made his way to play in the league, who apparently is the host of world’s top futsallers.
