The former recorded a comprehensive 4-0 victory with Renee Talathi grabbing three goals – in what was another complete performance from her – with Tricia Callaco providing the fourth goal in St. Anne’s H.S. (Fort) win.

Meanwhile, Carmel of St. Joseph came out on top versus Jamnabai Narsee Int. School (Juhu) with a 2-0 win; goals from Sailee Patre and Geetika Nair proved sufficient to grab maximum points at the end of full-time.

(Andheri – East) won with a narrow 2-1 margin against Christ Church School; in-form Kimberly Nazareth scored again as Christina Nazareth goal significantly contributed to the full-time result as well for the former. Whereas, Jeeshia Davar’s strike did not prove enough for her side in what was indeed a tough game for both sides.

MSSA U-16 Girls – Group ‘B’

Smt. R.S.B. Arya Vidya Mandir (Juhu) got past Jamnabai Narsee School A (Juhu) courtesy of goals from Reva Snkahe, Kritika Chhabra, Sharicka Zutschi in a 3-0 win.

The final match of MSSA U-16 Girls, turned out to be a fine battle between Bombay Scottish School (Mahim) and Apostolic Carmel (Bandra), which the former won 3-2. A brace from Florian Pereira proved to be an encouragement for Apostolic Carmel, but Sarah Arora’s two goals and Arushi Choksi goal got the better of them.

With a total of over 30-odd no. of goals scored in seven matches yesterday, the games surely don’t lack an effort from the under-16 girls.
