MSSA Round up: 29th July, 2016

Dhiren Patni’s splendid hat-trick gives St. Francis D’Assisi High School ‘A’ a much needed win, whereas Shshrut Kenkre and Rohit Dhamankar scored brace to guide Gokuldham High School all the way against Arya Vidya Mandir (Bandra).  Here is the round-up of the matches played on 29th July at St. Xavier’s Ground, Parel and Azad Maidan, Churchgate.

St. Xavier’s Ground, Parel:

Aayush Mudeshwar, Nizammuddin Sayyed and Ansh Bhansali scored apiece to help St. Mary’s High School defeat Don Bosco High School (Borivali) 3-1 in the opening match of the day. Pravel Sanket’s lone strike was just a mere consolation goal for the losing side.

St. Francis D’Assisi High School ‘A’ registered a thumping 4-0 victory over St. Lawrence High School, courtesy of Dhiren Patni’s fine hat-trick. Johnson Matthews scored the fourth and final goal of the game.

Gokuldham’s Shshrut Kenkre & Rohil Dhamankar combined together and formed a lethal attacking display to sink Arya Vidya Mandir 4-0. Both the attackers scored a brace to continue their fine form.

MSSA Ground, Azad Maidan:

Arjun Singh cancelled out Twain Fernandes’ goal in a 1-1 stalemate between Jamnabai Narsee School ‘A’ and St. Joseph High School. In the second match of the day, Navy Children School defeated Hansraj Moraji Public School 3-0 to wrap up a comprehensive victory. Prince Kulhari, Harshvardhan and Rahul Roy scored each for Navy Children School.

Don Bosco High School ‘A’ showed their class and discipline to rout Bombay Scottish High School 4-0 in their U-1 clash. Rajin Mehta, Aman Mangi, Manan Dang and Aryan Hukumchand scored one goal each.
